Rachel Throne

Rachel has given birth to Andrew in June and will return to work in the summer.

Hi, I'm Rachel and I've been one of the vets here at Mckenzies since May 2019. I am originally from a farm in Northern Ireland where we kept lots of different pets and farm animals. I graduated from Glasgow University in June 2017 and have been in practice ever since.

My husband and I currently have a little dog called Links - he is a very mischievous dachshund and you may even spot him around the practice.

In my spare time, I like to bake (much to the delight of my colleagues), knit and sing with a choir.
